Leaving the Soltane Forest: “The Fox Woman – An Inuit Tale”

Reclaim Your Wildness

October 27th through October 29th
On the maiden voyage of our new series of workshops "Leaving The Soltane Forest", we will be exploring the Inuit myth of The Fox Woman. We will spend the weekend in community activities and contemplation as we examine the places in which we have disavowed our own wildness. We'll engage in storytelling, art making, and ritual to reclaim and liberate the parts of us that we may have exiled in the hopes of being loved.
Join us to explore:
  • How have we been tamed and conditioned to make life more comfortable for others?
  • What have we lost or exiled in service of not offending those around us?
  • How can we reclaim the wild parts of us that have gone missing?

This story will guide you if…
  • You’re feeling uninspired, inhibited, and drained
  • You struggle to meet the expectations of others in relationships
  • You work so hard at caring for others that you forget what it means to care for yourself
  • You feel that others define who you are — even though it’s not how you see yourself at all
  • You’re interested in personal growth and insight, but not necessarily therapy
