Hillary Rubesin (PhD, LIMHP, REAT) has worked in mental healthcare since 2006. She holds Masters and Doctoral degrees in Expressive Therapies and utilizes various creative modalities, such as visual art, music, movement, and drama within her clinical practice. Hillary is also trained in various talk therapy models, somatic experiencing, and Internal Family Systems therapy (Level 1), and will work with clients to determine what therapeutic approaches might best lead to curiosity, insight, and healing. Hillary is open to working with all populations, but her past clinical work has focused on children and young adults, refugees and immigrants, adults living with anxiety and depression, and clients moving through transitions, grief, and loss. Beyond her clinical work, Hillary supervises new clinicians, leads workshops and trainings, and teaches/supervises in the Expressive Therapies graduate division at Lesley University. She sits on the Board of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association and works with multiple internationally-based nonprofits to help bring arts-based healing to populations across the globe.
