CML Connection Circle
A Monthly In-Person Offering of Community
Facilitated by Katie Hupp
Fourth Monday of Each Month
6:00 pm* to 7:30 pm
FREE OFFERING!
“The Circle is a simple structured process of communication that helps participants reconnect with a joyous appreciation of themselves and others. It is designed to create a safe space for all voices and to encourage each participant to step in the direction of their best self.” Carolyn Boyes-Watson & Kay Pranis, Circle Forward
If you are longing to connect, share, and be in solidarity with others in our community, then the Connection Circle is for you! Based on an ancient practice grounded in equality, respect, and inclusivity, the Circle process provides a platform for everyone to be heard and acknowledged. In each Circle, we sit together, take turns responding to facilitator-provided questions, and listen. Instead of offering comments, validation, advice, or feedback, we hold space for one another with our non-verbal compassion. Then, we conclude the Circle with a round of appreciations during which each participant has the opportunity to lift up others in the group, something that was said or felt in the previous rounds, and/or themselves.
Upcoming Connection Circles:
Monday, April 27
No meeting in May (Have a terrific Memorial Day!)
Monday, June 22
Monday, July 27
These are free offerings, but you must register by 6 pm the day before the Circle in order to attend.
Register here.
*On Circle days, please arrive at the Center by 5:45 p.m. and settle in by 6 p.m. in an effort to not disrupt the Circle process with late arrivals.

Mindfulness Study Group
Facilitated Online by Laura Crosby
First and Third Sunday of the month from 4pm to 6pm
Everyone is welcome and invited to join as the group explores mindfulness teachings and practices with two uniquely inspiring works:
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu
“…the classic manual on the art of living, written in a style of gemlike lucidity, radiant with humor and grace and large-heartedness and deep wisdom: one of the wonders of the world.” — Stephen Mitchell
Emptiness, A Practical Guide for Meditators by Guy Armstrong
“…with this wonderfully clear book, [Armstrong] invites us to consider and practice different approaches, all of which lead to our own deepening and freeing realization of the nature of awareness and its intrinsic emptiness -- and to the manifestation of compassion in our lives.” — Joseph Goldstein
A reminder that Mindfulness Study Group is freely offered, with no registration necessary and drop-ins welcome. We read together, discussing each section and practicing together as we go. This means no homework!
The Mindfulness Study Group meets the first and third Sunday of every month from 4-6pm. Sessions are now offered in person as well as via Zoom.
If you are interested in attending the Mindfulness Study Group, we highly encourage you to email Laura at [email protected] and ask to be added to the notification list so that we can reach you in case of alterations or cancellations in the schedule.
