Dr. Kara Cavel is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Certified Master Level Social Worker (CMSW) in the state of Nebraska. Kara received her undergraduate education in social work at Creighton University, her master’s degree in social work at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, and her PhD in clinical social work at Smith College School for Social Work.
Kara Cavel completed her yoga teacher training at Lotus House of Yoga in 2014. In March of 2024, she became certified in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCSTY) after completing a 300-hour yoga teacher training through The Center for Trauma and Embodiment. Kara is also certified in I AM Yoga Nidra by the Amrit Yoga Institute. |
