health policy updates

Summer 2023

We are currently monitoring the trifecta of Covid, RSV, and Influenza that is affecting our community this winter. We continue to offer the Wednesday 8:15 am Silent Meditation sessions and the Sunday Mindfulness Study Group sessions as both in-person and online offerings.  All other Daily Meditations and Guided Meditations remain online at this time.

Some workshops, classes, and retreats are being offered in-person with the understanding that all participants are expected to be vaccinated and current with any boosters before attending. Participants may be asked to provide proof of a negative Covid test at the onset of the program and some programs will require that participants remained masked.

Please join us for these hybrid (in-person and online) opportunities for practice:
  • Wednesday Morning Sitting Group - 8:15 am to 9:00 am
  • Mindfulness Study Group – First and Third Sundays 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

These offerings will allow for both in-person at The Center for Mindful Living and virtual attendance on Zoom. All other sitting groups remain virtual at this time. We will be offering several in-person programs this winter (please see below) and will continue to monitor the ongoing public health situation.

We will review this policy regularly and make necessary changes with the hopes of ever increasing our in-person offerings and returning to a pre-pandemic format.

We are continue to be grateful for your flexibility and understanding as we adapt to this ongoing fluid situation and as we continue to assess whether health conditions require further protections or remote measures. Thank you for helping us keep the most vulnerable in our community safe by observing these requests.

We appreciate your help and understanding!
