The Center for Mindful Living is a space for healing that hosts independent practitioners and educators coming together to create an Urban Sanctuary in the middle of the city.
"Meditation practice isn't about trying to throw ourselves away and become something better, it's about befriending who we already are." |
The Center for Mindful Living represents a group of independent practicing professionals who believe in the transformative power of mindfulness and creativity. We offer traditional psychotherapy, creative
arts therapies, somatic education, and many opportunities to develop and practice mindfulness skills. The Center for Mindful Living provides training and support for living a mindful life through workshops, events, classes, study groups and a variety of contemplative practices. We believe the traditional medical approach to mental health care is enriched by providing embodied, holistic and innovative ways to resolve conflict, enhance communication, and make meaningful changes in our lives. An artifact of our stressful, modern lives is the anxiety and depression that result from our sense of disconnect from ourselves and one another. By discovering and intentionally living in alignment with our values, we are better equipped to take care of ourselves, one another and our planet. |
